Can you write your own Aboriginal Dream Time story? Research stories such as Tiddalick, How the Birds got their Colours, The Rainbow Serpent, How the Turtle Got it’s Shell and other Dream Time stories. There are plenty of recorded ones on YouTube that you can watch. What similarities do they all have? Do they have morals/lessons to learn? Use the following template https://vle.stlukescatholicprimary.org.uk/courses/ks2-literacy/lessons/aboriginal-dreamtime-story-template/ to have a go at planning and writing your own Dream Time story. The box ‘orientation’ means ‘Who’, ‘What’, ‘Where’ and then you expand on those ideas further in the boxes underneath. I can’t wait to read them.
